Welcome to the Newman Center! I am Charisse DeFlice and
I have been a staff member for the past fourteen years. As office
manager, I am one of the first points of contact when people call or
visit the Newman Center. In addition to overseeing the management of the
front office, I am also responsible for providing sacramental
information and verification (baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc.),
compiling the weekly bulletin and the parish newsletter, The Center
Source.
I appreciate being part of a staff of individuals that is so committed to the mission of the Newman Center, but also derive much satisfaction from my interaction with our student and non-student parishioners. I am a native New Mexican. My husband ,John, and I and have a son and a daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy being a long-time member of a book club, traveling, and spending time with my family and menagerie of animals.
